Developmental Screening at Play Partners

Play Partners offers a one-hour appointment with an allied health professional to complete a developmental screen.

 

Utilising the DP-4 screening tool and clinical observation, we gather information that provides you with a broad picture of your child's development across the domains of physical, adaptive behaviour, social/emotional, cognitive, and communication.

 

Your child's development in each domain is scored with reference to developmental age norms and can be presented on a graph that provides a clear picture of your child's strengths and challenges.

 

It can be a useful picture to present to your child's teacher or health professional at school starting, or assessment.

 

It can be a helpful guide for parents/carers wanting to best support their child's development.
