Occupational Therapist Job in the Clare Valley & Mid North
A great opportunity for experienced clinicians or recent graduates of Occupational Therapy!
We're seeking a Occupational Therapist (FT or PT negotiable) to join our team in Clare, South Australia, a lovely 2 hour drive north of the Adelaide CBD.
Rural Relocation Grants of up to $5,000 are available through RDWA.
Salary Breakdown
For new graduates base salary is determined by qualification.
Bachelor's: HPSSA level 2, pay point 1 + 10%
(Annual base salary of $81,578 (or PTE) + leave loading + 12% super)
Master's: HPSSA level 2, pay point 2 + 10%
(Annual base salary of $84,547 (or PTE) + leave loading + 12% super)
For experienced clinicians pay rates will be discussed, aligned with your level of experience and adjusted for performance goals.

The Role
You'll be providing occupational therapy services to children and their families or young adults with disability in the Clare Valley and surrounding areas.
You'll be working from our Play Partners building in Clare or on outreach to schools, childcare centres, and day options centres across the region.
You'll have opportunities to provide relevant education sessions in childcares, kindergartens, and schools.
Your Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy assessments including motor skills, sensory sensitivities, and functional capacity.

Provide occupational therapy interventions.

Write relevant clinical reports including Functional Capacity Assessments.

Write and review occupational therapy programs delivered by allied health assistants.

Collaborate with the allied health team to ensure comprehensive client care.

Contribute and abide by our transdisciplinary model of care.

Provide communication education sessions for the community and our partners.

A Bachelor’s or Master's in Speech Pathology.

Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
