Occupational Therapy for Children & Adults with Disability in the Clare Valley
Who is Occupational Therapy for?
If your child or adult with a disability requires support to develop fine motor skills, requires accommodations or adaptations to participate in life skills, or needs a functional capacity assessment, our occupational therapist can help.
What do Occupational Therapists do at Play Partners?
Play Partners occupational therapists (OTs) work with families to assist children and young adults with disability to learn functional skills.
These include but are not limited to; age-appropriate play skills, fine motor skills such as writing and cutting with scissors, and the ability to pay attention and concentrate on task.
Self-care skills, such as feeding, brushing teeth, dressing, toileting, and bathing along with life skills, such as shopping, cooking, and managing money are all taught by us.

Any challenge that impacts on our clients ability to participate in their day to day occupations are addressed with our care.
Occupational Therapists can also address sensory issues that impact on a person’s ability to learn functional skills.

Our Occupational Therapists can write functional capacity assessments if required.
