The Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) Model
Who is the CPS Model for?
If your child or adult has concerning behaviours that are getting in the way of being able to participate safely or fully at home, school or in community then CPS may help.
What is the CPS Model?
Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming model that helps parents/caregivers/teachers focus on identifying the problems that are causing concerning behaviors in kids and solving those problems collaboratively and proactively.
CPS was developed by Ross Greene, an American child psychologist, and is being adopted around the world as a time, cost, and efficacious intervention for children where other, more behaviourist, consequence-based interventions have fallen short.

In 2025, Katrina became an Australian certified CPS provider under the supervision of Ross Greene and lives in the balance.

Katrina can work with parent and child to address home-based problems, or parent and teacher to address school-based problems utilising CPS. Katrina is qualified to teach and support the parent/teacher to become proficient and independent in using CPS.
CPS requires a lens shift from a crisis management approach, to an expectation management approach.
