PEERS at Play Partners

PEERS stands for Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills.

 

Play Partners is a PEERS certified provider and runs the program according to interest and sufficient numbers.

 

PEERS is an evidence-based social skills program that may be appropriate for teens with anxiety and/or depression, ADHD, or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 

PEERS group education includes having a two-way conversation, entering and exiting conversations, handling disagreements, using humour, making and receiving phone calls, appropriate use of electronic communication, and other social skills.

 

Sessions include roleplay and there are homework expectations.

 

Parent participation is required for children under 18 years old.
